I'm 17 years old and recently fell in love with the dancing in the movie Step Up 2; The Streets!. Its my new favorite movie and I am so impressed with all the dancing!
I would LOVE to be able to dance like them and have looked into taking classes, but most of the beginner classes are for little kids like 11-14 year old!. I don't think I'm too old to start learning at 17
I obviously know I wont be able to dance like the characters in StepUp2, and it will take many years to learn, so before I take a class for my age group (which would be intermediate) I would like to learn the basics from a DVD that I could buy online!. Ive looked at some but I want to find one specific to the dance from StepUp2, like street/hiphop/freestyle!.
I have a little rhythm while practicing on my own, so I'm not hopeless I just need some direction in a great DVD
I would love any suggestions, preferably if you've seen Step Up 2 and if you have used the DVD your recommending
