k the things that :) said are maybe the definition but they have nothing to do with modern dance!.!. here are the dance definitions:

Rebound: is when you do a strong hit with your body for example as if your arm is moving, hits a wall and rebounds off it (goes in the direction it came from)!.
Succession: is like steps or movements in a sequence, it means like one after another!.
Fall: basically just that, a fall!. It doesn't have to be like fall on the ground though it could be like standing straight and falling (and putting your weight on to) one leg as it moves forward into a lunge!.
Drop Swing: You drop one part of your body and another body part swings as a reaction!.!. kinda hard to further explain that!.!.
Opposition: Doing opposite things with your body at the same time!.!. for example when you do a pirouette you have to feel your supporting leg's ball of the foot push into the ground, but you also have to lift your body up!.!. kinda like there is a force pulling your leg into the ground and the rest of your body into the sky!.
Suspension: This is the exciting part of a movement, for example leg extension into the air, suspension is not just holding the leg still in the air but trying to lift it little but little even higher!.

Well these aren't really great definitions but im just trying to explain to you what hte movements are!! so maybe if you know what im talking about you could put them into better definitions yourself lol!. if youdont understand one of the explinations just email me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
