There are many college dance programs that do not require an audition to be admitted!. One such program is at Columbia College Chicago:

However, virtually all of the BA dance programs in liberal arts colleges across the country are non-audition!. It's the BFA programs that almost always require an audition!.

Your age would not be an issue anywhere you choose to go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Age is only an issue if you want to be a professional dancer!. A dancer's career usually peaks between 17 - 26 yrs of age!. But professional dancers can most certainly continue performing into their early 30's!. By the time you hit mid 30's and 40's dancers become directors, producers and choreographers!.

Decide if you want a dance degree or if you simply want to study dance at some professional studios!. You can select a different major in college, then take dance as an elective!. You may fulfill your desire to dance more quickly by joining a reputable studio!. This way you can train for shows and performances!. In addition, the studios can refer you to various auditions around town!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
