Question: Dance class at age 24!?
I've always loved to dance!. Mostly hip/hop I would say!. My college offers dance courses but I don't want to sign up for one, pay $200 in tuition and HAVE to follow attendance requirements!. Is 24 too old to seek out classes at a dance studio!? I am in a smaller city, 300,000, so I'm not sure if adult classes are offered!? Any suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It doesn't matter where your city is or how large it is, if there are dance studios in the city, there are adult open classes!. If by some freak of nature there isn't, you can always go to a nearby city for classes!. 300,000 is not that small!. The city I live in has about 12,000 people in it and it has adult classes and about 3-5 dance studios!. You might find smaller dance classes, but there will be classes!. If you're somewhat near a bigger city (like Atlanta, Philadelphia, etc)!.!.!. you might want to take a day trip every week over there!.!.!. you'll get more variety and more classes to fit your schedule!.

also, most colleges have some dance classes open to the public!. For example, my college has contact improvisation classes that are free every two weeks or so!. They also have some not-free but public dance/yoga classes that have class cards so you can come as you like!. Ask the dance department or a dance professor at your college to see if they have anything like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, you're not to old at all!. There's a 26-year-old mother-of-two at my studio and she is doing really well and enjoys it so much!. If you want it, then go for it and don't let anyone or anything hold you back!. You can do whatever you want!. I'm sure there's a studio somewhere in your city that offers classes to adults!. I'm absolutely positive of that!. So find one and have fun!

if you want to join dance classes just for fun then no you are not too old!.But if you want to become a pro then i think it's a bit late!.Go to a studio in your city!.Most of the studios have classes for adults!.In my studio there are people who just started to dance and some of them are above 40!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
