I would probably recommend Capezios, they're good beginner shoes!. Try to get professionally fitted, if there's anyone in your area who can do that!. I definitely counsel against Gambas and Gaynor Mindens!. Gambas have a plastic shank and give little/no support when on pointe!. They were my first pair and I had no idea that I was dancing completely wrong in them! And Gaynors are made more for professionals and 'help' the wearer get on pointe!. This means that your feet won't build up the muscles you really need to dance on pointe!. Plus, they just don't look very good!. But I would say that Capezios are probably your best bet!. Good luck with pointe work!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to the store and ask the people there to help you!. They'll know what's right and what's wrong for your foot!. also, tell them that it's your first pair and they'll probably recommend shoes for you to try on that will be easier for you to stand in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need to get professionally fitted!.
IF we were to give you a guideline or what brand, or width, ect, then we would need your foot length, and width at the least!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you really should have a pro!. fit you, but i'm about your size and have very high arches- i use r!.p!. 3/4's, and they're great for me!Www@QuestionHome@Com

pointe shoes need to be fitted perfectly by someone who knows what they're doing!.

but I would definitely recommend at least giving gaynor minden's a try!.!.!.!.they're some of the easiest to dance in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would trust the person fitting your feet more than anyone here!. But I highly recommend Capizo, they are the comfortable dance shoe I've tried!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
