you should just talk to your mom!. if you really liike dancing u cant give it up b!.c someone wants you too!.!.!.!.!.when you really like something its about you!. Give her the guilt trip try and show her how much you love dancing and how much ur hurt by the fact that she doesnt support you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hmm!.!.!.looks like you don't have the money to spend on it right now!. maybe you should get a job!? or if you're too young babysit or something and you can take private lessons when you have money or tell your mom you will pay for half of them if she pays for the other half!. or, you can offer to work off the money by doing chores and things around the house!. some dance studios will even let you take free lessons in exchange for doing office work, cleaning etc!.!. so try to work something out with the dance studio!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

See if you can use dance to make your own money! Teach some little kids how to dance in your neighborhood, or put on a mini recital for 5 dollars a ticket!. Use that money to continue what you love to do!. Never let someone or something get in the way of something you are passionate about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ask one of the teachers at the dance school if you could be a teachers aide for the baby classes in exchange for dicounted lessons and then see if maybe your mom would go for itWww@QuestionHome@Com

hmmmmm!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. you should babysit to raise money!. even if you can't pay for the whole thing, it could still help out your mom!. if you don't like to babysit, try something else!. Find a job were they hire 13-year-olds, like a dog walker for a pet shop, take inventory for a small business, etc!. you could also raise money by helping you neighbors!. water their plants, mow the lawn, get their mail while they're away!. you could also switch dance studios were you can take group lessons!. you might still have to do some fundraising, but your mother won't have to pay as much for lessons!. :-DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Your mother is not "barbaric" if she doesn't have money to spare!. There's a risk of recession in this country, lots of people are having to pinch pennies!. You have to understand that, otherwise you begin to sound like the unreasonable one!.

Don't guilt trip her, like others have suggested here!. It's nothing short of childish!. You want to appeal to your mother reasonably!. No mother would be pleased with a guilt trip!.

If you really want to continue to dance, use your creativity to earn some money!. Think bake sales, yard sales, Ebay some of your old things, and start saving that birthday money from Grandma!. Try to find the costumes and shoes used or cheap!. Again, try Ebay!. If it's thriftier, make them yourself with clearance fabric!.

Here's some good ideas from one blogging mother: http://www!.thriftyfloridamama!.net/2008/0!.!.!.

Remember, if you can't continue to dance, it's not the end of the world, even if it may feel like it at the moment!.

Good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
