They seem pretty strict, so I don't want to break their studio rules!. They suggest a black leotard and pink tights for the girls (no suggestion on the website for the boys-- it sounds like they want him in the same thing!), but I just can't make my son wear that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: most dance schools get boys that young to wear black bike shorts (or other black shorts that are not to loose) and a white fitted T shirt or singlet you dont want his clothes to be baggy as it makes it harder for the teacher to see if he is doing the right thing however just ring up and ask but i would go with tightish black shorts and a fitted white shirtWww@QuestionHome@Com At my ballet academy (one that's the training center for a professional company), they like the little boys to wear either a white t-shirt or white leotard, with stretchy legging type things ontop!. But if I were you, I'd call the school, and just ask!. Or, go to a good dance shop in your area, and tell them what the name of the academy, because they usually know what the uniform is for the different dance schools!. Remember, if it's his first class, they'll be leneant (sp) on his attire, but I still recoment calling! But if you can't ask for some reason, I think a safe thing to wear is a white t-shirt and black dance pants!.
