Ok im on the dance team at my school and i wanna do a solo but i need help choosing a song!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean idk if i want something slow and modern jazzy or something really sassy!!!! Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am in the same situation!!! i cant figure out what to do my solo to!.!.!.!.im thinking about energy by keri hilson but in my opinion i think its cooler when the music builds and has this like wow effect!.!.!.if that made any sense lol!.!.!.!.adele has really good songs and so does missy higgins and if you look up westmoore highschool or applause studios on youtube there are a lot of great songs that they dance too they are aaamazinng!! i hope i helped if you find anything that would help me too it would help a lot because im at a loss to pick a song!.!.!.lol good luck!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com Here are some sassy options: ~Passion: Courtney just did a solo to it on SYTYCD, but our officer line did a great routine to it ~Livin on a Prayer (Bon Jovi): I did an officer try out to this song for JV drill team and I made it!. The song has a good beat with more modern and edgey verses and a sassy chorus ~Look around at musicals, because they often have good jazz songs try: Chicago, Sweet Charity, Mama Mia I hope I helped!. If I think of more later I will post them!. Good luck and happy dancing :) PS Something I do is keep a list of songs in my room!. Whenever I hear a song on the radio or at dance that would be good for a solo, I write down the title, artist, or a few verses to help me find the song later!.
