Question: Dance Starting Again!!?
I need some exercises to help me get back into shape!. I'm mostly concerned about Jazz and Starting Pointe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would do a lot of ab work (crunches and such), leg work (leg lifts and such), and cardio (running and such)!. You are also going to want to start strengthening you ankles since you will be starting pointe!. Along with all this though you will probably want to start stretching and working on some basics!. ( turns, leaps, ballet basics, etc!.)

Moving up levels is always fun and scary, but don't worry I'll bet that you'll do fine!. Good luck!!

pushups situps, cardio-the normal stuff will help you with jazz!. for pointe, start working your ankles!. You need extremely strong ankles to be good at pointe!. Stand in releve whenever you can, it helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know much about jazz dancing, but as far as pointe!.!.!.!.!.definitely do lots of releves and stuff like that to strengthen your ankles!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
