I think the dance floor is really a better indicator of how a person feels about themselves!. It is easy to spot someone who is self concious!. The dance floor will bring that right out!. It is all in the shoulders--the higher they're held, the more tension they are feeling!. It is perfectly normal to feel some degree of nervousness around dancing though, because lots of people are usually watching!. I think alcohol, on the other hand, might make some feel more comfortable dancing, or more at ease!.

I am 5'2"!. I wear glasses!. I am shy, quiet, and I usually wear my hair in a pony tail!. But (I've been told) when I dance I appear 6 feet tall, and a sex goddess! I don't know!. I guess I just gain a confidence when I get on the floor!. I have confidence when I'm not performing, but the personality is just TOTALLY different!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

sortof!.it helps me express myself more!.like if im doing ballet my friends and boyfriend knows tht im in a romantic mood!.
if im doing belly dancing they know im in a sexy mood!.
if im moving around crazy they know im hyper as a child!.
if im not dancing they know im just lazy!.
if im not dancing but out on a run or boxing im pissed and shouldnt be botherd
