Question: What is the best way to add fluidity and grace to a Cecchetti-based choreography!?
Cecchetti is so traditional and structured, what's the best way to make it artistic and dramatic like Balanchine without changing the choreography!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Add a little russian technique!? the hand and arm movements are a little more fluid and graceful, but the actual moves are very similar!. I've taken both styles, and while I haven't taken syllabus cecchetti in ages, that's what I know!. I don't know what you need this for, but if changing the choreography will get you into trouble in an exam, don't do it!.

The people on Dance!.net might be a little more responsive, since the majority of people answering questions here seem to be more of the beginner/unexperienced level!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
