step?

Question: Is it true only black people can stomp/step!?

I've seen Stomp the Yard, and Step/Step 2!. When I told my friend that I was interested in that kind of dance, he told me that only black people can stomp/step!. He said it was part of the cultural identity!. Is that true!?

Thats not true!. Im on a step team and im white as you can get!. I also have a background in drums which also help with stepping!. If you really want to get into step you should get into a dance/music class!. also work really hard on being fit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For the record, Black people do Irish dance (see below) as well as ballet and ballroom and other so-called "white" dances!.

So while stomp/step is part of African American culture, it is not only the purview of Black people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

thats not true!. if anyone can dedicate time to a certain type of dance, overtime, they'll be the best!.
if your interested in something, do it!. my asian friend tried to excel at salsa dancing, and she's by far one of the best salsa dancers i've ever seen!.

yes it's true that black people stomp better then white but that doesn't mean that white people can't do it m brother does it and he's really good so that doesn't rule white people out!. Good luck
