Question: To Late to Go Pro!.!?
I am turning 15 on the 31st, and i really want to get back into dance as my birthday present!. I am going to be taking, hopefully, 2 ballet classes, grade 3, a jazz, and a lyrical class!. What sort of steps do you do in grade 3 ballet!? pirouettes, grande jetes, etc!.!? I have taken dance before, so i am not new to the experience!. I did ballet, jazz, and tap from 3-10 years old!. Is it to late to go pro!.!? any other tips on grade 3 ballet would be helpful!. also, how soon do you think i will be en pointe!? I have ok arches, but i am working on them!. I can do a triple pirouette and a very good grande jete and i can do 25 fouettes on flat!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

okayy well first of all noo i dont think its too late to go pro!. you can do whatever you want to do!. if you want it bad enough you can make it work!. and to get to pointe it kind of depends!. since you have experience in dancing it shoudnt be that long but it also depends on what your teachers think!. and well i cant exactly help you with the grade 3 ballet or whatever caus my studio dosnt do it like that!. so yeahh id suggest asking someone who dances at the same studio as you!. caus every studio does things ther own way so someone from a different studio wont be able to tell you!.

hope this helps :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are still young enough to go pro since you have experience!. You will have to work very hard to make up for lost time though!. As to whether your level3 class will be en pointe, it depends on the studio!. Different studios teach different things at different levels!. When you are ready to dance en pointe, they will put you en pointe!.

Talk to your studio about auditioning for a scholarship so you can take more classes per week!. If you want to go pro, you should be dancing every day!. You also need to take a Character class once a week!.
