Question: Contemporary dance!?!!?!!?1!?

This is Specific I know!!! Does anyone know of any contemporary dance studios in Ann Arbor, Michigan!. My friend and I really want to take lessons!. But cannot find a studio!!! Oh and if you do take lessons, do you like them!?!?!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you mean "contemporary" as in what you see on "So You Think You Can Dance," that is really more lyrical jazz!. Adam Clark teaches that style at Dance Alliance in Saline!.

You might also find some decent jazz classes at Ann Arbor Dance Classics or Randazzo Dance, but it depends on who is teaching jazz there these days!.

However if you mean contemporary ballet, then I'd recommend Dance Gallery Studio, where their modern dance classes are very ballet-based!.

This being a university town that takes its contemporary dance pretty seriously (ala Martha Graham, José Limón, Paul Taylor, etc), you'll need to be more specific when asking around about contemporary dance studios by saying what style you have in mind based on where you saw it performed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
