Question: Ankle Strengthening Excercises!?
I am in ballet and hoping to move up to pointe but i need to strengthen my ankels A LOT before that!? what are some good excercises i can do!? or any kind of balance balls or stretch bands!? idk please help :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

-Do eleves (releves without the plie)
-Point and flex your foot to its maximums
-sit down and lift your leg up and write each letter of the alphabet in the air with your foot (you'll feel the burn by G or so lol unless you're already well on your way to strong ankles, I used to hate that exercise but it doesn't really do anything for me anymore)
-if you have the stretch bands wrap the band around your l foot and hold the other ends in your hands; pull the bands towards yourself and to the right, then point your as far as it can go and slowly "wing" your foot to the left, against the pressure of the band, reverse it, and then do it on the other foot!.

releves, eleves, echappes, grand plie in seconde and roll up on to toes in a forced arch, get some stretch bands her is a site if u want cheap but good ones:

Lots of calf raises, eleves and releves, even plies roll through will help to stretch and strengthen the ankles!. also, invest in a theraband and do resistance work against it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
