That's a very complex question to answer!. You see first of all the wages vary by region!. Secondly, they vary by the type of performance given!. Some people do 5 min performances (sometimes refered to as a bellygram) while others do 15 min shows, 30 min show, 45 minute shows, etc!.!.!. Sometimes they work out deals where they do two shows a night at different times!. Additionally the amount a dancer makes can vary by the fame of the dancer (yes, big names get big bucks) as well as where they are performing (private party, Restaurant, corporate event, etc!.!.!.)!. Another factor in price is whether the local dance community has an organization which controls wage guidelines for all local dancers!. For example some communities have a guild that sets standardized wages!. However there are always those who undercut just to get a gig and they tend to lower wages for the rest of us!. Additionally if you can be a performer as well as a teacher which gives a slightly more stable income!. Here is a partial listing that you could get an idea from!. I have no idea!. My aunt was a professional belly dancer for years!.!. she loved it and I do recall her making good money doing it!. Maybe a search on the net will be more beneficial!. Sorry I'm no help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
