Question: Can someone please help me with a song for my lyrical dance!?
I'd like a song that's upbeat and happy but not something a young child would dance to!. Something inspirational too, if possible!.

I was very ill for awhile, and this will be my first performance not ill in almost 8 years!. I want my song to be a celebration of how happy I am to be performing again!.

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, something like the song "Defying Gravity" but I used that song already, so not that,

Any suggestions are appreciated!Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could turn that into a really cool dance, that tells a story, because it's just guitar and some other light instruments, no singing!.!. it's really a beautiful song, and i've always wanted to do a dance to it but wanted to save it for when i really had inspiration from somewhere!.

it's kind of hard because most lyrical songs are about something negative (unfortunately) there aren't many celebrating life!.!. but you could easily turn a regular song into your story with your choreography, it's not all about the song!. i think it's really inspirational that you're doing a dance after 8 years of being sick!.!. amazing!. good luck, i don't think i helped much but i triedd!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's inspirational in the sense to get people moving to the beat if that's what you meant inspirational - it's Ciara's ft Missy elliot's One Two Step!. Really upbeat and fun song with some different beats (some faster and slower) so that you can choreograph some different stuff into it which is neat!. My dance crew did a song to it and it was a mega hit :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
