Question: If ur 20 or older can u still do the splits if u never done them before!? just curiosity!?
i am 14 and i can do the splits but i am just wondering if someone when they are 20 or older try to do them and stretch everyday could they become able to do them or not or would it take a really long time or is it possible to like hurt them or something!?

While I am not a phys ed instructor, I do not believe that 20 is too late!. However, I would think that the earlier one starts, the less difficult time they will have!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sure!. I'm 37 years old, and 27 weeks pregnant, and can still do the splits!. I've always exercised and include stretching with my work outs!. I have to admit, though, the farther along I get in this pregnancy the more difficult it is to achieve a split!. I probably won't do it much longer, but will begin stretching exercises again after I deliver!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It would probably hurt because you aren't used to doing it, but if you stretch and practice every day at it, it's definately possible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
