Question: Everyone says i can't dance and i have no rhythm!.!.!?

Those people who say you can't dance are stupid and have no brains!!! Lol, it's true!. But anyways, everybody has rhythm!. If you want to improve it, you can do tap, jazz, ballet, or any other dance!. Don't listen to those people, because they don't know what their talking about lol=)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't hav any rhythm whatsoever and I've been dancing for 12 years, it's not really something that you can teach or learn!. But you can sort of get a feel for it if you listen to music that has a very strong, obvious rhythm!. If you can learn to perhaps, distinguish the drum beat from the rest of the music, then you'll be able to count the beat and that will help you loads!.

While it is possible to have no sense of rhythm, its kind of rare!.
you are probably not a natural musician but you can pick it up a little!.
Start with listening to some easy folk or light rock music!. Clap in time!. Have a friend help you by clapping along!. It will not take long to see if you really have no rhythm or just didnt live with music enough to pick it up!.
If you manage to clap in time!. then start tapping your foot!.
After a while you will want to clap your hands and tap your foot in opposition
Such as, in 4/4 time, tap on 1 and 3 clap on 2 and 4!. This will probably become natural with time!.
then stand up and step to the music to see what happens!.
Dont think this will take a day or two!. You are looking at weeks or more to pick it up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
