Position:Home>Dancing> Would this be a good ballet song for an audition??Question: Would this be a good ballet song for an audition!?!? http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=rqtfA_CaAFI
i really need to start working on a routine thanks!!Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well that is a good lyrical song!. I think you could work it out for ballet!. Maybe you should do character ballet!. They always make the judges laugh!. Popular or songs form Wizard of Oz!. If you like classical ballet look up songs from Bach and beethoven and stuff!. Maybe you could do a lyrical dance instead of a ballet dance!. I hope this helped!.Www@QuestionHome@Com yes, it would be perfect make sure it is very slow but here are some of my other favorite classical music that would go well with your ballet auditon!.!. http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=w2cFEHM9yMw&f!.!.!. http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=lV8EAJ3M9rs http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=1ea90L91eZk http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=7Ee8F3olCLM http://youtube!.com/watch!?v=ULseDit9xM4Www@QuestionHome@Com i tink that would be more suitable for a contemporary piece unless you are trying to choregraph a more moden piece!. its best for ballet to go for classical music!. try looking at cds in dance stores that are for open ballet classes!. those pieces will be perfect!. happy dancing and good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com It might stick out to the adjudicators(thats what their called at our studio) which could be good or bad!. i would probably stcik to some thing that is classical and wordless!.My favorite that we are doing a variation to right now is Paquita it has slow and fast!.Www@QuestionHome@Com No, the song would be perfect for a contemporary audition but not ballet!. Pick something classical such as a piece from Coppelia (Delibes) or Cinderella (Prokofiev)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It seems like more of a lyrical song, but with proper choreography, I think you could use that to your advantage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
