Question: Angoney splits!?!?!?
i have been trying to get my splits for ages but reacently it is agoney it really hurt real bad is there any thing i can do to stop this im not on the ground but my back knee is if you kow what i mean its unfair you all make it look soooo easy please it really hurts and i have been warming up like i have been doing running until im out of breathWww@QuestionHome@Com

then i just kept practicing until it killed me lol!.!.

Stretch beforehand!. Sit on the floor and stretch your legs out as far as they will go and gradually try to push them further each time/day!. Lay on your back and try to lift your legs straight up in the air and with your toes pointed!. Practice high kicking and make them staight and graceful looking!. Stand and try to take your foot in your hand and stretch it out straight and lift it to your side!. Make sense!? I don't really remember any of the names of these stretches, though!.

All of these things helped me!. Actually using stretching techniques rather than just getting right into the splits and trying to force yourself down is better!. Running don't exactly help, it's more of an strength building thing!.
