you're teacher's probably right, hang in there, your feet will get tougher!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I get what your saying!.!.!. starting point is really really hard!.!. especially depending on what padding you are using!.!.

So it sounds like your just getting alot of bleeding blisters from the rubbing!.!.!.

If you are not using any padding, or just light lambs wool, thats common!. And yes, in time it will callous over and your feet will be tough!.

I've been on pointe for 5 years now and I've had my share of blisters!.!.

THIS IS THE KEY!
It is important to let your feet toughen up, but I find that If you do not want to get blister, they key is to use a tow pad with GEL!.

Not fabric covered gel, but raw gel that can stick to your skin!.

I have found that with the fabric pads!.!. they still rub your skin and give blisters on occasion!.!. just like the fabric in a loose street shoe would!.

The gel sticks to your skin, but can still stretch and move around because it is gel!.

Since you are a beginner, I reccomend the ToeSavers skinnydips pads, they are nice and thin, but still are soft and prevent blisters!. they have cloth on one side and gel on the other!.!. good for beginners, you can reallyy feel the floor, without masses of pain!.

My very FAVORITE pad ever though are the Gellows by Pillows for Pointe!. I don't get blisters, my toes don't get super sore, they are thicker then the toesavers, but not too thick, I can still feel the floor!.

You should move up to those as soon as you've had some time with thinner pads!.

hope this helps! Just keep at it, its always hard at first!.

Just keep taping and stuff!.!.!. there are even little rubber blister covers by bunhead you can use if its just on your toes!. :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Umm why would your feet hurt in demi pointe !? and it's not your feet you break in it's your pointes !. If it hurts when your on pointe then mabey your shoes don't fit or you need padding but mabey you should re-phrase your question cause at the moment it's hard to understand !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
