It sounds like your friend is talking about pointe work, in which case, yes your feet can bleed!. It's not the turns that necessarily make your feet bleed, but rather the stress, improper cushioning, and poor technique that goes along with any sort of work in pointe!. Sometimes it can take years to get advanced turns just right, but practice makes perfect!Www@QuestionHome@Com

pirouettes don't quite make your feet bleed-maybe pointe shoes and/or bad floors might!? pirouettes are mastered at different lenghts of times for different people!. for example, someone who is born walking elegantly and upright may take a shorter time than someone who slumps and likes to sickle their feetWww@QuestionHome@Com

She's being dramatic!. Maybe she was talking about doing them on pointe, but even then, they shouldn't cause any bleeding unless you practice them for 4 hours straight!. LOL
But, yes, pirouettes do take a while to learn!. Maybe less or more than a year, it depends on your mind, body, and teaching!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

piroettes are very easy to learn!.
i first learned how to do a piroette only a year ago and i already made my dance company for next year at my school!.
your feet should not bleed if you are doing a standard piroette!. it is actually not painful at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think she means pointe work witch is going on the tip of your big toe now imagen that!!

pirouettes dont take that long to learn but along time to perfect
ask her if shes en pointeWww@QuestionHome@Com
