When I've started a new class, the teacher has never made me stand in the front!. I usually go in the middle groups and lines and if I have trouble, I joke about it with my friends!. I always say "Wow, what the heck is that!?" or I just say "um" and make a funny face and laugh!. It sounds hard and embarrassing to do, but it's really not after you do it like twice!. Just keep going over the routines in your head over and over again and partner with somebody so you have somebody to do it with - usually teachers will do that especially if you're new!. Good luck; have fun; don't worry; and dance your little heart out!Www@QuestionHome@Com

thats happen to me!. when i get added to a show i have to stand in the front and learn it!. a good thiong to do is before the class start meetign everyone!. tell them ur name and tell them ur new and ask them if they can teach you the basics first!. if u hav trubble ask ur teacher for help!. im sure he/she will be happy to help you!. and about your nevous thing!.!.!.like i said get used to everyone in the room and the teacher!. a good thing to do if you get really nevous is sit down, calm down and just watch for a few mins!. and if you feel like people are watching them act like you know what ur doing and do ur best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't worry at all!. If you are starting dance at a slightly older age (like older than 4-9), you and your classmates are there mostly to have fun!. The teachers should realize this and know that if they terrorize you, you will not return!.
Remember, too, that everyone is in the same boat as you- they are all learning things and are probably just as nervous!.
Good luck and have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com

People usually are not watching others when they are learning!. They're minding their own business!. Or tey should be, anyway!. When you're in front it might feel like you're being watched, but in fact nobody cares!.
It is more common for children's classes for a teacher to tell you where you should stand!. When you're older they usually let you pick a comfortable spot for yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
