Question: Is there such a thing as a tall aurora!? (ballet)!?
just wondering , watching videos on youtube, and i noticed almost all auroras in 'the sleeping beauty' are very small, apart from Darcey of course!.!.!.!.!.

do u think this is appropriate or fair!? i know they do it because shes sposed to look young, but young people can be any height!.

or does it not actually matter how tall she is!?

i would be interested to hear your opinion, and also if you know which of these statements is actually correct

thanks xWww@QuestionHome@Com

well, she has to be kinda short because yeah she is young but also she gets partnered with a lot of different guys and she needs to be shorter when she's standing en pointe than all the guys!. if she's in releve and taller than the guy it
1!. looks bad
2!. the two can't properly dance together - it's impossible
so that's why aurora in general is short (darcy is just amazing so she's the exception) and just to let you know, most femal ballet dancers are pretty short because of the two above reasons!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
