You're never too old to start learning anything!. I first started tap dancing when I was 28 - and there was plenty older people than me!. It's always hard to make the first move to start something new!. Tell your GF to call the dance studio and have a chat with the instructor, I'm sure he or she will reassure her and make her feel welcome!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No way is 26 too old to start tap dancing i have done it about a year and although when you first star it is bound to be hard as learning anything new would be i think if you are 26 or 10 you would be finding it just as hard if anything when your 26 you will be better as you will most likly have a better rythemWww@QuestionHome@Com

I started at 11(ish) in an advanced group and now I'm better than some of them!

She isn't too old, there are adult tap classes, but she should try it out before getting the shoes, etc;
It's better to start young but if she picks things up quite quickly then she should go for it, but not expect to be brilliant straight away! ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

How can it be too old to take up tap dancing!? Always good to learn new skills and is a great form of excerise!. Give her a choice tell her to take up tap dancing or learn pole dancing, either one she decides on you will get an entertaining private show at home :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I started taking tap lessons my first year in college, and have been at it since that time (over 20 years ago)!. I love it! I meet interesting people, get out of the house on my own and just enjoy myself!

Now, if your girlfriend starts dancing, why not you!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's NEVER too late to learn something new!! It's also a great way to keep fit(lke any other form of physical activity) If I had the money, I'D like to take up tap dancing too!!! If she really wants to, then encourage her to GO FOR IT!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hell No, you tell her to 'go girl'!. Tap dancing keeps you fit and toned and it's a lot more fun than lifting weights!. It's not bad for the legs either just think 'Betty Grable'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hey, watch out Twinkle toes! You could end up being turned into the next Gene Kelly if your not careful!. Nah, never too old to learn something new and keeps her fit at the same time tell her to go for it!Www@QuestionHome@Com
