Question: Is it gay for a guy to want to learn how to river dance!?

Unfortunately the term 'gay' has been used loosely and without restraint to describe various activites or interests!. It is not 'gay' for a guy to want to learn river dancing!. No more then it is 'gay' for a guy to wear pink!.

The only thing that would make a guy 'gay' would be if he was, as far as sexual orientation goes, a homosexual!.

Worry less about public image, and take what people say with a grain of salt!. The question you should be asking yourself, is if you think learning river dancing means that you are a homosexual!. And it most certainly does not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Please! The amount of coordination and physical stamina it takes to do this particular kind of dancing is insane!. Yes, it's incredibly hard to be technically good at and no, it isn't "gay"!. But who really cares if it is!. If you want to do something, do it! Don't live your life by stereotypes!. And just think of how many girls would be taking a class with you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its not gay!. river dance is very hard, therefore respected!. a lot of professional river dance groups need some men to river dance!. it might seem that way because when people think of dance they might think of ballet and tutus and pink slippers but its not like that when you river dance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if you're straight, then I don't think you have anything to worry about!.

It's not considered "gay" as much as it is "unmanly"!.!.!.To put it politely!.
