Question:

I am seriously addicted to dancing! Like in all of my classes at school, I can't help but daydream and choreograph dances in my mind!. Whenever I hear music!.!.!.dance, no matter where!. I'm currently in jazz/tap/ballet & next year I'm also adding modern, hiphop, and pointe!. I have always been a good student, taking challenging classes!. But now that I realize I don't need things like ap bio and calculus to own my own dance studio some day (even though I'm a freshman, I'm thinking about college alreay & that's what I want to do after college) So my senior year, instead of taking calculus should I take business management!? I really wanna have a fun, enjoyable, memorable senior year!. I want good grades, and not too much homework!. Plus, we have all these new requirements so I can barely squeeze in ANY classes I want!. But do colleges like harder classes that I would do average in, or easier classes that I would get As in!?

You should consider going to a college that has a Bachelors in Fine Arts program with a dance concentration!. Figure out which ones would be good to shoot for, and take your high school classes accordingly!.

The business classes in high school might be good, but they might take time away from what you need to get into a BFA program!. Any good BFA program should have courses on how to teach and managing a teaching businees too!.

There are also high schools for the arts too!. So you could consider transferring to one near you if it exists!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
