good for you!!! i have hyper extension as well!. only thing is when you are in first your heels will not touch when your legs are fully straight!.

my suggestion would be to do reformer exercises especially for your core and strength!.

don't rush into pointe work!. you need to build the strength in your feet, ankles and legs and core before you even consider pointework!. when you think you might be ready ask your teacher whether or not he/she thinks you are ready!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

all i can tell you is to start strengthening, everything!. mainly your legs, but also your core, hips, feet, and back!. you need to build up your endurance!. but the biggest thing i can suggest is strength!. maybe try some weight lifting, not too much b/c you dont want to bulk up, just enough to give your muscles some resistance!. cardio like swimming, running, or riding a bike would be good for endurance!. be careful about rushing onto to pointe, b/c you dont want to hurt yourself, especially being hyper extended!. also remember that you were, about 8 im guessing, when you stopped dancing, so things will be more advanced now that youre 13 and a little harder to get back into!. its not impossible, but youre gonna have to work at it!. hope that helps, let me know if you need any other help :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
