Find as much information on technique in books, magazines and the internet, practise in front of a mirror so you can see if you look right, and keep yourself flexible with regular warm-ups!. Some you can learn on your own (less of a problem), but others you may need a partner, which is more of a problem (though it can still be done)!. If you have a friend, bf, or hubby, you can try finding instructions and learning together!. Other than that, if you must take lessons, the only way is to do all in your power and work hard, and eventually you'll get there!. It is hard to be patient sometimes, I know!. Sometimes, you can just get instructions from someone or something and learn all on your own!. But other times, you'll need to have a friend or buddy that you learn with!. Or you can buy some dance videos and watch!. But first thing is checking with your parents!.
