There are many careers in the world of theatre, including production work: stage managing, costuming, set design, light design, etc!. While none of these requires dance experience, a person in any of these fields can work closely with dance, and knowledge of dance certainly helps!. Likewise, any kind of administrative position within a company or studio is complemented by dance experience!.

Other careers include dance therapy, dance physical therapy, dance teacher in public education (very different from teaching in a private studio), rehearsal director, artistic director of a company or school, cheerleading or dance team coach, commercials, TV shows, and so forth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
