Question: How to loosen up!?
ive been dancing my whole life with ballet and jazz and both are pretty stiff and all about technique!. so i wanted 2 try something new and decided to take a hip-hop class, im doing alright but the final dance show is coming up and i wanna know ways to loosen up my body, and please dont give me stupid answers!. im not nervous about it, its just hard to swicth from a different type of dance!. so any ways to loosen up, improve my hip rotation, and lose the technique i have!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i was the same way i danced for about 8 years and then joined a competitive hip hop team!. its defiantly a different type of dance but they only thing that can help you loosen up is having fun with it like your dancing with your friends or something and trying not to be so technical with your movesWww@QuestionHome@Com

ive been dancing since i was 2 and a half and now im sixteen, ive always been in ballet, modern, and jazz, and i took a hip hop class last summer!. seriously listen to shakira really loud and watch her in her music video!. im super serious!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would skip for ages im a wrestler and that warms me up and also loosens me up afterwards maybe it will work for u too goodluck or maybe yoga!? but i know u muyst be already very flexible from ballet so maybe u need to just have some good cardio excersize !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

don't think about it so much!. stretch out and do some sports!. run a bit and listen to some music!. don't think about the tecnique!. think more about having fun!. you'll losen up real well!. that's how i do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you should go to the gym and work out everyday for about an hour it helps reduce stress and build muscle for better performance!. Don't forget to stretch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
