I hate to burst your bubble but you can't just get pointe shoes and practice with them at home!. You could seriously injure your ankles or toes!. You should talk to your dance teacher!. Most dance studios require you to be a certain ability level to make sure you are strong enough to handle the pressure and control you need to be capable of doing pointe!. If your teacher doesn't think you are ready or if they don't offer pointe at your studio, seach for another studio in the area!. Talk to them about your ability!. When you do get your first pair of point shoes, make sure you have them professionally fitted by someone qualified so that your shoes won't cause any problems!. If for some reason they don't think you are ready after 5 years of dance, ask what you can do to practice and in a year or so, maybe you will be ready!. Good Luck, and sorry you can't practice at home, it would be very risky!. Again Good Luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can't go en pointe safely without your teacher's permission and supervision!. What if you injured yourself practising at home and couldn't dance for months!? Only your teacher can say when you're ready for pointe, and if you're only doing two classes a week, you are NOT ready!. At my studio, you need to be doing at least 3 classes a week before you can go en pointe, and when you get pointe shoes, you need to do 4 a week!. There are a lot of factors that your teacher must look at to make sure you're ready, and going on before that, ESPECIALLY by yourself is NOT a good idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know how much you want to go en pointe, but first you have to ask your dance teacher!. You should be over the age of 10, and you should be taking 3 classes a week!. After your teacher sayes it's ok to get pointe shoes and that your ankles and feet are strong enough, then you can take pointe classes and practice at home!. Keep practicing and showing your teacher how good you are, and I'm sure you'll go en pointe:DWww@QuestionHome@Com

No!. You could get seriously injured!. You need a teachers permission, and their instruction to take pointe!. Why not ask your teacher if you're ready to go en pointe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no matter what you need to do what your teacher says but it would be better to go on pointe if your feet are mostly or fully developed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no!. talk to your dance instructor & it is only ok if they agree
it can be dangerous if you aren't ready for itWww@QuestionHome@Com
