Question: How to Dance!!!!!!!!!?

My Freshman Cotillion is on May 9th and i have a date but i don't really know how to dance!. Where or how could i learn and be comfortable dancing, especially with her!? also how do i SPECIFFICALLY slow dance, and dance to more modern songs like rock and rap!? also, no corny moves please!. Anything, any stories or experience would help!. d:~)Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is many things you can do !. I would start by looking 4 lessons (if you are that serious) !. Public lessons are the cheapest and you can bring your own partner!. To look 4 lessons look in newspapers or on-line!. To get comfortable with dancing with a woman in general !.!.!. ask your mom or an adult!. They will know how to dance (Wedding,etc) !. They can show you the right form and how to lead!.To get comfortable with your date!.!.!. ask her to go with you to a lesson or even better ask her to show you how to dance (We are just like you guys, we also like to teach our boyfriend something new !!) Almost (most likely) all school "slow dances" are freestyle!. Freestyle means you do what you want!.!.!. 4 example move with the beat and stay close (or as close as comfortable)!. Not too much to slow dancing!. Rap,Hip-hop,Rock are also easy to dance 2 !. Just like the slow dances go with the flow!. Not much else 2 it!. Just follow your heart and the beat!.

A short story :

I have wanted to learn Ballroom ever since I was little but I couldn't find a Lesson !.When I did , it didn't take me to long to learn how to dance!. You gain Muscle memory , which helps you remember what foot moves at what time !. Dancing becomes natural kinda like ridding a bike !!! Just don't give up !!

don't worry at dances most people look like idiots, but its so fun no one even cares or notices about bad dancing
