Wow! I admire your courage!. I never would have even thought to go to prom by myself when I was your age!.

Will a lot of people be going to prom solo at your school!? If so, try to arrange something before hand!. Talk to the others and make an agreement that no one be left out to dry when they want to dance!. This way it is more of a co-op date, so to speak!. Enlist a few of the others to get something going!.

If you're one of the few going, you've got your work cut out for you!. If you're hoping to meet your true love at the prom, you're bound to be disappointed!. Instead, talk to one of your friends that does have a date and ask for a couple of dances when you're in need!. BTW, talk about this before the prom, don't spring it on them at the last minute!.

I would personally have asked one of my friends or my mother to arrange something!. A blind date would have been better for me!. Kudos to you for sticking to your guns!. Your prom is an important part of your school memories; no need to sully the memory with a last-minute setup date!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't worry about it, if you have a guy friend, ask him to dance with you!. Or even a boy you know from one of your classes!. Chances are there will be a few guys standing on the side of the dancefloor staring and trying to look cool and would love it if you asked!. And if you are too shy to ask (like me) then dance with one of your girl friends!.

Slow dances are usually played at the end of the night so if you aren't dancing get a head start on the goodies they usually give out to commemorate Prom night!. You'll be avoiding being trampled on by the rest of your classmates!.

Even if you don't get a chance to slow dance, you aren't missing alot!. Slow dancing at Prom is really only swaying back and forth on the dance floor!.

Don't worry so much about who you are going to be dancing with and just ignore the popularity contest!. Prom is supposed to be fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hey hun,
dont worry about not being popular, its your prom too, so you should be able to enjoy as well!. go with a few friends that way when the slow song comes out, you will have a few people to chat with, if you have any frinds that are boys, ask them!.!.!."wanna dance" if he dosent have a date, and he is your friend he wont say no!.

just be happy and enjoy your day, dont worry about what other people think, and if they talk, that just means they have nothing better to do, and basically have no life

take care sweetie!.!.hope this helps :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

why don't YOU ask someone!? why do guys have to do all the work!? just build up your confidence {i'm beautiful!. take chances!. its prom for goodness sakes!} think good thoughts and just say do you want to dance!? you can add the as friends!? thing if you want unless you want it to be more!.!. (be clear) and if you aren't popular so what!?!? confidence is everything :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

i wasnt popular and i went to prom on my own too!.!.!. if you have some cool friends, they'll ask you!.!.!. Prom is a time really where nobody really cares who they dance with!.!. (at least in my school no one cared) so if you relax and just flow through the night!.!. you'll be cool!.!.!. PROMISEWww@QuestionHome@Com

There's nothing wrong with asking someone else who doesn't have a date!. Alot of people go on prom alone to avoid that "contract" but don't be afraid to ask someone!. Someone may even ask you!. Don't worry!. Just try to have fun!!! It's your prom!. Enjoy it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look inside yourself, gather up some courage, an ask someone yourself!. It's all about the bravery and attitude of you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
