I know exactly how you feel!. I started ballet when i was fourteen (last year) and i have to admit i did feel really behind at first, and at one point i felt like totally giving up!. But i worked really hard to achieve what i wanted , and now i'm on pointe with a solo to do in the summer! Go for it!. Follow your dreams and never let age hold you back; because talent can over come any obstacle!.

It is never too late to start dancing! However, the later you start the harder it gets!. I started ballet when I was 2! I have seen many older girls start ballet during their teens and it can be a struggle but depending on how much they really want to do it they can either pull through, or give up!. I have seen instance in which someone gets frustrated and gives up but if she truly wants to dance, then there is no reason why she shouldn't be able to!! She will love it!. Yes it may be a challenge but ballet is fun and it is a great way to relieve stress! That is why I have stuck with it for 16 years! Hope I could help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is reasonable!. Expect it to be difficult physically and possible mentally!. Remember that you'll be starting behind and have to play catch-up!. Don't let these initial difficulties hold you down!. After all though you may not be the best at the beginning, you'll never be anygood if you never start!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes! I definately recommend you start! I am 14 and I still do ballet!.
It might even be easier to learn at this age!. since you dont run around the room like a maniac!.( i hope u dont lol)
