Question: 8th promotion dance help!?
i am going to 8th grade promontion soon and i have no idea how to dance!. i went to a 6th grade dance!.!. boring as hell!. anyways im not going to ask anyone out to promotion, simply because im just to scare and i didnt like any1 this year!. i asked my freinds how to dance they just say walk in a circle, if that makes anysence!. i feel embarrassed when i try to dance (i think like every1 is looking and that i will look stupid) i liked asked every1 they all said they really dont no or just go to the music!. wtf does that mean!. i no how to slow dance but besides that i hate rap and r b and crap they play at the dances!. im not looking forward that that dance but PLZ help, not to sound gay but im scared and i dont no how to danceWww@QuestionHome@Com

cuz i know at my middle school we were watched like prisoners last year ahaha!. but we still "freaked" i guess
ok so for the most part its really just bouncing (not jumping) to the beat of the music!.
most girls like to lead, so (this is gonna sound wierd typed out) but stand behind her (this is if shes not all up tight type) put your hands on her waist and just follow how she dances or how her hips move!.!.!. which isnt really dancing again its like bouncing and shaking!.!.!.(tould you it sounded wierd typed) since its 8th grade i would get TOO close cuz you know how the teachers are!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It's not gay( and by the way, I hope that you are not using gay as a way to say that something is stupid)!. If you really want to learn how to dance you have to practice!. When you're home watch videos and listen to music!. Move to it!. Get familiar with it!. Don't worry about the popular steps that everyone is doing!. The most important thing is to be comfortable with the moves that you're doing!. Create your own!. And don't worry, everyone won't be staring at you!. but it sounds as though you re self conscious about yourself so work on that by not thinking about what others will say or think just do it!. it may be hard at first but just make yourself do it
