This might be difficult to explain, but I'll try!.!.
You have to keep your heel on the ground as you drag that foot backwards!. In the meantime, you have to keep the front foot propped in a forced arch (on the balls of your toes)!. So the foot moving backwards is flat and the foot in front is arched, then when you trade feet you have to popy our heel up on your back foot, flatten your front foot, and then slide it back past your propped up foot!. In order for it to really look good, you have to be really deliberate with your heel, either it's definitely up or it's definitely down!.!.!. none of that inbetween stuff!.

Now if you ever figure out how to do that sideways, let me know!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stand with your feet together flat on the ground!.

Lift your right heel and put your body weight on the ball of your right toes!.

Push off a little from the ground so that the weight is removed from your left leg, then you slide your left foot backward (make sure it remains flat on the ground)!.

Now lift your left heel, push off the ground, and slide your right foot!.

Alternate!

Tip: Keep your body weight a bit forward!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
