( :Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, modern is more strange and uncomfortable if you're used to classical ballet (but don't get me wrong, it's just as beautiful as ballet, if not more, and a lot more exciting) and lyrical is more ballet-like, but both are great! i like lyrical more, but modern is funnier becuase of all the wierd body position, like dancing on the floor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com If you are highly trained in ballet, lyrical will be easier to learn!. If you are not trained in dance, or trained in jazz, modern will probably be easier!. I like lyrical better, because I very balletic!. Neither are really funny, but i suppose you could make a humorous modern dance!.!.!. both portray emotions of a song, but in different ways!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I personally think lyrical is easier to learn!. It is not as strange and weird and free!. Easier to choreograph, I'd think!. Lyrical is my favorite out of the two, and my favorite out of all kinds!. I love it!. It is so beautiful, with out being to uncomfertable and strange!. But I am a shy person, and I grew up in ballet and ballet is my favorite real kind of dance to this day, and I am a tall, thin person not being able to be as free and let my body go, i am stiff!. But that's just me!. It really depends on what type of person you are to find out what is more fun!. Liek I said, I am a very shy, stiff person, and I feel very uncomfertable doign strange movements!. Lyrical is so beautiful to me and easier, so naturally, I think it is funner!. But if you reall liek to move, and don't care how strange the dance is, modern probably woudl be funner! Don't get me wrong, Modern is very beautiful, adn I am not meanign to offend modern dancers!. I prefer modern because it is a bit different, but lyrical is pretty fun to!.
