Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, many dancers dance with different kind of feet, which categorize into three types!. The first type is the Egyptian foot, which is a narrow, long foot in which the toes (any height of toes) taper!. The second foot, called a Greek foot is where the foot can be narrow or wide, but the second toe is always bigger than the big toe, The last foot is called a Giselle or Peasant foot, in which the foot is wide and short, and the toes are relatively the same height!. There are many dancers who have had successful careers who have any of these feet, as none of them have restrictions!. I have heard, though, that a higher arch does make it easier to go up on pointe, but you can fix pretty much everything with a lot of hard work!. Don't rush yourself!
