*just stay calm and breath
**Just think about how great you are going to be!. Don't think of any mistakes that you might make (not that you will)
***Think of things that soothe your mind
****Think of how lucky you are to even be in this (you don't know how many people wish they could do what you are doing)

breathe deeply before you go on stage!. really it helps!.

also we used to do this thing at my studio before competition!. Play a nice song, turn off the lights, and just lie there being aware of your body!. Feel your toes, then legs, and just relax!. It really refreshes you

take a deep breath before going out, and jsut have fun!. for me, i am always sooo nervies before i do any tipe of performing, but i always remember to breath before i go out, and then i just have fun!. whether it is singing dancing or acting, i just think 'i like doing this and i am jsut going to have fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

my psychology teacher told us a good trick to be relaxed: cup your hands and then place them on your face covering your nose and chin!. make sure that there aren't any gaps or open spaces between your cupped hands and your face!. breath in for five seconds and hold your breath for five seconds then breath out for five seconds!. it should work!
if not try my method, do anything to forget about your competition!. don't think about it!.!.!.
