A lot fo factors go into determinging the right hsoe, so I'm glad you're getting fit!. From what you've told us, you may like a Bloch serenade or sonata!. You will need to do something with pads or spacers, even lose lambs wool to accomodate what are called Greek feet, longer 2nd toeWww@QuestionHome@Com

Congratulations on beginning pointe! Well first off, the best place to get pointe shoes is at the Rosin Box in Pennsylvania- i don't know if you live near there, but they will find a pointe shoe that will perfectly fit your type feet!.

If you can't go there, I suggest Grishko or bloche (not sure of spellings!?)

good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think Bloch & Capegio are great for beginnners!.!.!. or at least that's what my teacher recomended!.!.!.
I started with Grishko!.!.!. I don't like them because you can't go on demi-pointe, the wooden part[lol not sure what its called] it typically wider and it is tighter then most normal pointe shoes!.
But ask your teacher and the fitters at the store too and they will help you decide!.!.!. also get the purple gels, they rock =PWww@QuestionHome@Com
