Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i have wide feet too i love gaynor mindens! they are great because they are really supportive and already broken in!. but at the store you go to (well at most pointe shoe or dance stores) there is someone there who will measure your feet and tell you what shoes are best!. try on a bunch and experiment which fits your foot best! good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com well Grishko is a fantastic brand of pointe shoes!. I have had the Grishko 2007 and the Grishko Maya!. The Grishko 2007 breaks in very quickly and is very beautiful on just about every ones feet!. It makes your arch look very beautiful as well!. The shank though stops right in the middle of your foot so it feels like the shank is broken but it isn't!. That is the only thing i did not like about the Grishko 2007s!. The Grishko Maya are fantastic too!. They hurt allot when you first start to break them in, but the shank stops almost by your heel so it does not feel like the shank is broken!. You can probably get the same size width, just go to your local dance store and try them on, the sizes vary with each pointe shoe, so don't order them unless you know your size in the pointe shoe you want!. Good Luck with finding a good pair or pointe shoes!!Www@QuestionHome@Com go 2 a dance shop and try some on tell the shop person what u dont like about ur last pair and see what there is i will need 2 get my 2nd pair of pointe shoes soon but i will have 2 have a diffrent make this time as the ones i have, no where sells them now so i think i will gt bloch or freeds just get some that are confatable and fit propaly in avoid injury good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com well it just depends on your foot type!. personally, i love the bloch signature rehearsals, but i have teeny feet (i wear like 2 in pointe shoes and 3-5 in street shoes)!. i know a girl with wide feet, and one of my teachers recommended grishko, so maybe try those!. you'll just have to try a variety of styles and brands before you make your final decision!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Go to your dance store and they will help you!.!.!.
