Question: OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!! I MIGHT HAVE TO STOP DANCiNG!?
i'm a dancer =) i have had hip pain for the last 3 years!. it hurts on the back of my hip near my butt!. it has affected my middle split tremendously and my tilts and stuff!. when i go down in a middle split and when i do tilts it feel like my bones are crashing together and they can't go any further!. also, when i do grand jetes and stretch in the butterfly position it makes this HUGE popping noise!. sometimes it hurts!. what should i do!? go to the doctor's chiropractors physical therapist!? ANYTHING!!! oh yeah and i won't stop dancing!. i absolutely cannot until summer!. it only hurts when i am dancing and doing other physical activities for long periods of time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes! PLEASE go the doctor's!. They should be able to tell you what you can do or what medication to take so that it doesn't hurt any more!.!.!.or they can refer you to a chiropractor or physical therapist!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well i suggest you go to the doctors they may put you through a chiropractic session! The longer you leave it the worse it will get!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to the doctor!. It could be something simple that you could correct with the right exercises!. An orthopedic surgeon would be great (they're not just for surgery)!. An orthopedic surgeon is an expert when it comes to bones!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.!. I had a pain exactly like this along with a problem called snapping hip!. I hated it and almost had to quit!. It effected my flexibility like my splits and leg extensions!. But my teacher told me to go see a physio!. And I have been seeing her for a couple months and its already improved so much!. She gave me a whole pile of exercises to help with my hips pains and problems!. as long as you do the exercises that they tell you to do you will be fine, and trust me you will see a huge improvement after seeing a physio!. sounds like it might be your piriformis muscle!. i'm a dancer too and a physical therapist!. you can try outpatient P!.T!. and or a good chiropractor!. MDs will just give meds!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
