Question: Intermediate foundation ballet!?
I used to do inter foundation ballet RAD at school but at my new school they don't do ballet!. So now I have to take classes out of school!. The problem is I can't find anywhere close that does Inter foundation RAD so I may have to do BBO (British ballet organisation) or ISTD!. Would I still be inter foundation!? I want to know the equivilant for intermediate foundation RAD to BBO or ISTD!. like, is BBO easier or harder etc!.!.!.!?
also, i was on pointe!. So I would like to still do pointe!. What grade do you do pointe in BBO/ISTD!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

OK!.!. right!.!.!. lol

RAD is the best ballet board to do in the UK if you can not find a rad qualified school then go for ISTD you would be the same level in ISTD Interfoundation! but the thing is is that ISTD interfoundation is just a continuation on from there grade 6 syllabus where as interfoundation is usually done along side normal RAD grades!!

ISTD isn't as technically correct as RAD it is more dancey and performance based so the steps do not have to be 100% correct unlike RAD!.

I wouldn't advised BBO ballet they are a good Tap board but not a very good ballet syllabus sounds silly them being called the British ballet association but this is just my experience!!

hope this helps

I'm not sure specifically what you're talking about, if it's schools or something, but I can tell you what level usually schools use for your level!.

IF -----
The lower the class number (5,4,3,2,1, etc!.) is, the harder the class is, you would be at a 2 or a 1!.

IF-----
The higher the class number (1,2,3,4,5, etc!.) is, the harder the class is, you would be a 5-6!.

GOOD LUCK! Hope I helped, sorry I can't be more specific!.?Www@QuestionHome@Com
