Question: Can anyone give me some tips on doing Flare (breakdance)!?!?!?
I've started learning flare just about a month ago and i can't seem to get it!. I do flare in a clockwise motion!. Everytime my legs reach the V position, i just fall down!. Or sometimes i can't seem to get the right leg up high in the air after the V position!. It's so frustrating and confusing!.

Can anyone give me some tips on doing flare like maybe some things to practice to build strength and balance (pushup, dips, etc) or some tips on flare overall!. Any tips can be helpful!. Thanks a lot~~~

Btw, how long did it take u guys to master 1 spin of flare or at least 3 spins!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you know you kinda have the right technique going, I don't really have any other tips to give you!. Just practice!. It takes lots of time in order to get flares down (i haven't yet :[)!. It'll take more than a month to get one rotation!. Remember that quality is more important than quantity!. Keep practicing!.
Now most of the muscles used are going to be your deltoids (shoulder) and abdomen!. You can work out your delts by holding a push up position, doing a handstand against the wall and holding it, or deltoid exercises with weights!. The deltoids are used in the flare to hold your upper body up off the ground!. The abs are important in controlling your center of gravity and movement of your legs!. Just do sit ups, crunches, leg raises, etc for the abs!.

THe guy in this video is good $ has good tips - maybe he can help you!. It's hard to help when can't see the mistake, but one of his hints might jog your brain
