Yes it would. Although they are completely different types of dance, all dances have the same foundation. Break dancing is a mixture of coordination, flexibility, style, rhythm, position of weight and emphasis that relies on physical body strength. Yoga also involves all these things, most importantly, coordination of poses that strengthens the body, strength being essential for break dancing. Yoga also concentrates on breathing techniques, which is vital to learn for any type of dancing. Many of break dancing movements, like the head stand, derived from yoga movements and gymnastics. In some regards, break dancing is yoga, just with more energy and attack.

Yes, it would. It will improve your coordination, flexibility, and let you get more in tune with your body. Plus it's just a good workout in general!

Dude i did yoga and was learning how to break at the same time
I was never able to touch my toes now i can touch the floor
Flexibilty = power
especially when doing power moves
