Question:I'm taking classes in the fall and I know I'm taking breakdancing, but I don't know what else to take! I'm ridiculously strong for a girl at my age, my balance is great, my endurance is alright, and I can take pain pretty easily...but I have a little trouble with flexibillity. What should other classes should I take?

you should consider Jazz.. and maybe ballet considering what your style is. jazz is great for strong girls, and ballet envolves quite a bit a flexibility. but i you start doing simple stretches now, you'll be ready for sure. on stretch you could try for flexibility is laying on your stomach, your legs come straight out in line from your hipsand bend them at a 90 degree angledown. (basically its the center splits and bend your legs!) good luck hun! i hope you do well!

i take jazz just because it gives you a good mix. ballet. jazz. hip hop. it's all there. i love it! and after a while you will get more flexible...no worries lol.

I would take a modern class, where you have to use your strength and stuff. you might also like jazz, though if you are super un-flexible, then you may not like it. I think you would really like modern!

I think you should take hiphop it's loose, free and fun it's kind of like breakdancing or you could take ballet. Strength, balance and endurance are good for ballet :) You'd probably be excellent and Jazz is also a good one. I think you need more flexibility in Jazz than ballet... because of jumps, turns, stretches in jazz. Maybe consider tap also?

I think u should take Ballet. It helps flexibility. It will make you poise and shows a lot of technique and will help with your other forms of dancing.

im only 12, but, ballet is a really good dance that helps not only technique and grace, but flexibility!

honestly, jazz or ballet.
ballet will work muscles without you knowing...until the next day at least :)
and jazz...well my jazz classes do a lot of core work for turns and stuff. but it's more funky i guess.
haha, last class we did sit ups non-stop for a whole song, but it was funn :)

Hip Hop! Breaking and hip hop compliment each other really well and it will make you better at both.

If you want to take other classes, then I recommend Jazz.

you dont have to take classes, its a waste of money..

just stretch everyday.

it will develop.

no pain no gain. but since you can take pain easily. try to stretch. even ask someone for help. do a stretching routine.!
