Is it too late to start ballet??

Question:ok, i'm 15 years old and i would really love to do ballet, the problem is, i never went to dance classes when i was younger or did any of that stuff, but i wanna start classes for ballet now. is it too late? the girls (and boys) doing it are flexible and professional beccuase they started when they were about 4 years old lol

Never! But your best bet is to enroll in an adult class. You will not be placed with other kids in your level and you may find it more rewarding to enroll an in adult class. Then if you decide you are very serious, you can enroll and regular classes and will know some terminology and technique. Hey, Margot Fonteyn didn't start training seriously until age 13 and she is maybe the best dancer of her time! Don't feel discouraged, and keep training. Good Luck!

It's never to late to start, just don't expect to be put in your age level class unless you're REALLY ready. If you do start now, a lot of hard work might be able to get you up to age level next year.

its not too late to start....u just have to practice really hard to catch up with the rest of ur class....u have to stretch everday and practice every day....good luck:)
