(FIXED LINKS!) (EASIEST POINTS!!!) Who should have won?

Question:(yes this was already posted -- my links were screwed up)

Okay, so I am on my high school poms team.
Last year we won 1st place at state for hip hop.
We were expecting to win this year -- and in my opinion should have!
Instead this year we got 2nd...
Not that 2nd is bad but after watching the people who beat us I was really disappointed.
So underneath this is 2 links -- the 1st link is my team the 2nd is the team that beat us. If you could just give me your opinion on who should have won I would reall apperciate it!

I think it was very close to tie, but I like your group better. You guys are more together, your dance look more like hip hop to me than theirs, your choreography is more interesting too. But neither of the groups were really together in sync so this is something you could improve upon. Other answerers see it the opposite - the other group being more together than you guys.

Overall, you guys should have definitely won. Your team's choreography was much better than theirs even though it seemed off balance at times. There was only one thing that I noticed that was better on their part. Your team started really great, but as the performance went on a few girls were a little out of sync. Their team was in sync the whole time. However, just based on overall performance your team was much better.

the other team is crap. ha, but no really yall shouldve won.

i think your dance was much better (choreograph) but they were more together as a group. so there you have it, your choreography was better but they had an average dance but made it look good =]

you won :( they where pretty annoying...they won because the music was a better more spunky mix and because their dancing was much faster...work on your hip movement team :) and dance with more attitude

well acutaly the other team nailed there dance moves and 2 people from u dance group messed up and were behinde so next time practies more and dont worry so much about the dnce moves but if evryone has it down first

you guys definitely should have won. they were kinda boring to watch. i know it's not always fair... but you just gotta keep next year in mind, ya know?

yu guys where good. but i do think that the other team was better. Theyre coreography was better i thnk and much much sharper than you guys, but your still good! cus gota work on mooving at the same time

I think you should've won. You guys started good at the beginning, but the other teams' performance looked like it was going at a faster pace. Maybe that's why they won??? You guys looked better as a team too and you guys had like perfectly even spacing between you an the other girls on ur team. The other team looked a little space out and they didn't look together as a group. I think that happened around 1:30-1:40 when they were joining in their circle. I don't know much about cheerleading honestly, but from my view u looked better. Great job! And hey, you know that you won, do u really need a medle for that to be official? The judges made a mistake!:)

OMG THE BEGINNING. sorry but they coulda won on that and that alone lol it was funny as hell! u were both rele gd, howeva, i prefered their music but there was 1 girl who wasnt in time and it was rele pissing me off! i think u were both bout = diff aspects of each were gd.

Your choreography was obviously much harder, but their routine was cleaner and more consistant.

It really depends on what the judges were looking for.

i think it came down to the percision and what the group looked like as a whole. i think that you guys had more individual errors. no offense but the music didnt do much for me. i think that i got bored..you were good! dont get me wrong. but if the showmanship was their more for you guys you couldve won. i think that the other team kept you wanting to watch more. it also comes down to what the judges are looking for.
ive been to sate for pom and drill for my high school and we couldve won 1st or 2nd if there was less individual errors.
so keep in mind. 2nd is amazing out of the whole state but the other ream did have a lot more formations i guess..
you should also have a packet of what the judges say and what they wrote. so if you havent read over those as a team that might give you more ideas of why you didnt get first.
but honostly i do think that the other team did deserve 1st.sorry.

thank you so much for answering my question...im very grateful (tough situation as you know) but onto your question...both teams had its goods and bads but your team was best overall, im not a dance judge or anything like that but it had great choreography compared to the other team....you definetly had the better team.....thank you so much for answering my question again and i hope my answer helped you =) thx

You guys were really good.
But I think they won because in the begginning they are spread and more open and free. Like how hip hop is. Plus, maybe their music. I don't know what type of music you guys were listening to in the begginning. But, this was a hard choice.

honestly its hard...ur dances were both really good. especially urs. and not to be cocky or anything...but i do kno what im talking about bc i dance hip hop too! and i think maybe ur team prolly should have won.

I dont know much about hip hop dancing, from what I see, your moves are much more better and exciting, but their team is very in sync, they move at the very same time while yours is somewhat off from one anothers, your dancing is better and I think that they just moved together very well won it for them.
